Would you like to take a journey into the past to rediscover the lost histories of your family? In this session, we’ll explore the basics of genealogical research, including a sound methodology for getting started. Learn practical tips on how to navigate online databases and repositories effectively. Whether you’re a newcomer to tracing your family history or seeking to deepen your existing knowledge, this class provides a solid foundation.

**This is a HYBRID class, offered live in the classroom and online via ZOOM simultaneously.  Please choose either the Zoom or Classroom session at the time of registration.

**In class meetings require a separate parking fee of $5/day.  Please collect your parking permit through your CSUSM parking account.  If you do not already have a parking account Parking Services will create one for you upon registration.  You will receive an email from Parking Service which will include your Username, Password and a link to login and purchase permits/packages.  If you’re not sure if you have a parking account or you have one but need your login information, please contact us.
