The CompTIA certifications are the most-recognized, vendor-neutral credentials in the industry, and will assure employers that you have the skills they need.

This online self-paced, instructor-facilitated course will prepare you to pass the CompTIA A+ and Network+ certification exams.

Length: 2 semesters (classes run in the Spring and Fall)

Course Outline

The CompTIA A+ Certification exam covers mobile devices, networking technology, hardware, virtualization and cloud computing and network troubleshooting. It also covers installing and configuring operating systems, expanded security, software troubleshooting, and operational procedures.

CompTIA Network+:

  • Design and implement functional networks
  • Configure and maintain essential network devices
  • Use devices such as switches and routers to segment network traffic and create resilient networks
  • Identify benefits and constraints of existing network configurations
  • Implement network security, standards and protocols
  • Troubleshoot network problems
  • Support the creation of virtual networks
