Network+ Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) Network+ is a globally recognized certification in networking that helps develop your career in IT infrastructure by covering troubleshooting, configuring and managing networks.

This certification ensures you are able to:

It is recommended as the first security certification IT professionals should earn. This course will prepare students to pass the newly released SYO-701 exam.

This certification focuses on:

  • Core knowledge required in any cybersecurity role

Register for this two-course bundle and save $95. This self-paced, instructor-moderated two-course bundle prepares students for both the CompTIA Network+ and the newly released SYO-701 Security+ industry certifications. The program begins with CompTIA Network+ during the Fall 2024 semester, followed by Security+ during Spring 2025. Course dates: August 20, 2024- May 20, 2025

Although there are no prerequisites to take this course, CompTIA recommends A+ Certification and a minimum of 9 to 12 months of hands-on experience working in a junior network administrator/network support technician job role prior to taking the Net+ or Security+ certification exams.

This is an intermediate to advanced level program. This course assumes you have intermediate knowledge of using and maintaining workstations in a network environment. This course assumes you have sufficient knowledge to operate a Windows PC and some knowledge of command line and web interfaces for network devices.
