Course Description

Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) Security+ is a globally recognized certification that focuses on the core security functions that enable you to pursue an IT security career. It is recommended as the first security certification IT professionals should earn. CompTIA certifications are the most highly recognized, vendor-neutral credentials in the industry. They will assure employers that you have the skills they seek in network and security professionals.

Tuition includes e-book, online study materials, and CompTIA Security+ exam voucher.

Format: Online, self-paced, instructor-moderated.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites to take this course. Students will receive a certificate of completion upon successfully completing coursework. For those who plan to take the exam: CompTIA recommends at least 9 to 12 months of networking experience and two years of experience IT administration with a security focus prior to sitting for the CompTIA Security+ exam.
