Course Description

“You yell, ‘Shark!’ We’ve got a panic on our hands on The Fourth of July,” says Mayor Vaughn. Well then, “Shark!” This class considers Steven Spielberg’s audacious blockbuster not only as a disaster movie but as a psychological thriller raising anxieties and earning a place in the National Film Registry.

**This is a HYBRID class, offered live in the classroom and online via ZOOM simultaneously.  Please choose either the Zoom or Classroom session at the time of registration.

**In class meetings require a separate parking fee of $5/day.  Please collect your parking permit through your CSUSM parking account.  If you do not already have a parking account Parking Services will create one for you upon registration.  You will receive an email from Parking Service which will include your Username, Password and a link to login and purchase permits/packages.  If you’re not sure if you have a parking account or you have one but need your login information, please contact us.
