OLLI Exotic Worlds - Exotic Worlds of Europa, Enceladus, and Titan

Course Description

Growing up, Venus and Mars seemed the most Earth-like and likely to harbor life. Sixty years of exploration revealed them as inhospitable. Perhaps we were looking in the wrong place—Europa, Enceladus, and Titan are more Earth-like than any of the planets. With a NASA mission heading to Europa’s underground oceans, it’s the perfect time to explore what we’ve recently learned about these fascinating moons.

**This is a HYBRID class, offered live in the classroom and online via ZOOM simultaneously.  Please choose either the Zoom or Classroom session at the time of registration.

**In class meetings require a separate parking fee of $5/day.  Please collect your parking permit through your CSUSM parking account.  If you do not already have a parking account Parking Services will create one for you upon registration.  You will receive an email from Parking Service which will include your Username, Password and a link to login and purchase permits/packages.  If you’re not sure if you have a parking account or you have one but need your login information, please contact us.
