Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) Network+ is a globally recognized certification in networking that helps develop your career in IT infrastructure by covering troubleshooting, configuring and managing networks. Fully online, asynchonous format.

This course will prepare you to pass the CompTIA Network+ certification exam. In addition, gain hands-on experience in this subject area using online simulation resources. Includes exam voucher and online study materials.

Length: 1 semester (Fall or Spring)

Format: online, asynchronous, instructor led

Tuition $1995 includes exam voucher and course materials.

  • Design and implement functional networks
  • Configure and maintain essential network devices
  • Use devices such as switches and routers to segment network traffic and create resilient networks
  • Identify benefits and constraints of existing network configurations
  • Implement network security, standards and protocols
  • Troubleshoot network problems
  • Support the creation of virtual networks

Prerequisites

This is an intermediate course. This course assumes you have intermediate knowledge of using and maintaining workstations in a network environment. This course assumes you have sufficient knowledge to operate a Windows PC and some knowledge of command line and web interfaces for network devices.

Recommendations

Although there are no prerequisites to enroll, CompTIA recommends having hands-on experience in the lab or field before taking the Network+ certification exam
